Moxy Connects:
Vibrant Community, Rich Culture
In the Design for Experience module from Loughborough University,
my team transformed Moxy Hotel at Stratford into a vibrant hub for community and culture. We reimagined the guest experience by embracing the principles of emotional design and belonging.
We implemented key redesigns at Moxy Hotel, which encompassed:

Enhanced Arrival Experience: Guests are now greeted by an enthusiastic team, provided with an iPad, and offered a refreshing welcome drink for a personalised, stress-free check-in process.

Community-Immersive Events: Moxy Hotel hosts a variety of events that allow guests to immerse themselves in the local culture of Stratford. Open-mic nights, art events, and more provide opportunities for guests to connect and fuel their creativity.

Interactive Multimedia: The hotel features interactive screens showcasing captivating short films, art, and photographs from previous guests, enhancing the overall guest experience.

Fostering Connections: Throughout their stay, guests have the opportunity to form lasting connections with fellow guests, fostering a sense of belonging and community.
The project's core mission is to transform Moxy Hotel into a place where guests not only stay but also actively engage with the community, celebrating the unique spirit of Stratford and creating memorable, enriching experience.
